Beginner Level 1

Lesson 1: The Chessboard – Files, Ranks, and Square Names. In this lesson, we will explore the fundamentals of the chessboard, including the importance of files and ranks, and how they contribute to understanding the game.
Lesson 2: Chess Pieces – Names, Values, and Movements. Here, we will delve into the various chess pieces, their distinct names, values, and how they move across the board, enriching your strategy and tactics.
Lesson 3: Check & Checkmate. This lesson will focus on the concepts of check and checkmate, key elements that determine the outcome of a game. We will discuss tactics to avoid being checkmated while seeking to place your opponent in check.
Lesson 4: Castling – Types and Rules. Castling is a crucial maneuver in chess that serves multiple purposes. We’ll cover the types of castling, the rules surrounding it, and the strategic advantages it offers to players.
Lesson 5: En Passant. En passant is a unique pawn capture that often surprises newcomers. In this lesson, we will explain this rule in detail, providing examples on how and when to use it effectively.
Lesson 6: Board Setup & Chess Notation. Setting up the board correctly is essential for starting a game. We will provide a step-by-step guide along with an introduction to chess notation, enabling you to read and notate games like a pro!

Intermediate Level 1

Chapter 1: Forced Moves – Mate in 2. This chapter dives deep into the concept of forced moves, where every decision made by the opponent leads to a mate in our favor within two moves. Players will learn critical patterns and tactics that can be employed in various scenarios.
Chapter 2: Middle Game Tactics (Up to 4 Moves Ahead) – This section elaborates on the crucial techniques that can shift the course of the game. It encompasses strategies like Pin, Skewer, Decoy, Deflection, Discovered Attack, Double Attack, and highlights the importance of Pawn Promotion, Double Check, and various Drawing Tactics, among others. We will explore examples and exercises that reinforce these tactics.
Chapter 3: Popular Openings – Here, we discuss some of the most renowned openings in chess, including Queen’s Gambit, Sicilian Defense, French Defense, Caro-Kann, Modern Defense, and many others. A thorough understanding of these openings can provide players with a significant strategic advantage right from the beginning of the game.
Chapter 4: Endgames – This chapter focuses on Endgames, one of the critical phases of chess. We will explore Rook Endings, Pawn Endings, Minor Piece Endings, Rook & Pawn Endings, and the concept of Endless Endings where players must understand how to maneuver towards a win or a draw.
Chapter 5: Game Analysis & Strategy Building – In this final chapter, we analyze various games to illustrate strategic building. Understanding the complexities of Game Analysis can enhance a player’s skill, allowing them to dissect their own games and understand their opponent’s strategies better. This will lead us to a more informed approach to playing chess effectively.

Beginner Level 2

Lesson 7: Checkmate in 1 Move – Practice Puzzles
These puzzles are designed to enhance your skills and understanding of checkmate scenarios. Try to solve them within a time limit to improve your speed and efficiency.
Lesson 8: Basic Checkmates –
These concepts include Two Rooks Checkmate, One Queen Checkmate, One Rook Checkmate, and Two Bishops Checkmate. It is essential to master these basic checkmates as they form the foundation of advanced strategies.
Lesson 9: Checkmate in 2 Moves – Practice Puzzles
